Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Puli is scheduled to begin its regular shoot from 23rd June. But the film will begin 3 days before the scheduled time, it will go on floors from 20th June. An action episode is planned with 4000 junior artists on the opening day shoot.
SJ Surya who made the film Kushi with Pawan is directing this film where Pawan is playing dual roles. A R Raheman is composing the music. The film is scheduled for next summer release. The heroine of the film is yet to be finalized.

Ram charan teja's bangaru kodi petta
Banagaru Kodi Peatta is the hit song from megastar's film Gharana Mogadu. The film was released in 1992. MM Keeravaani was the music director. The song was shot in a ship yard set with disco Shanthi. The film was big hit and that film collected Rs10 crores gross in those days.
Now SS Rajamouli is experimenting the same song with Ramcharan and Mumaith Kahan in the place of Megastar and Disco Santhi. MM Keeravani is gain composing the music for this film too. It is again going to be shipyard set. The shoot will take place every soon.

Rajini’s Kucheludu is nearing completion and if sources are to be believed, the film has shaped up very well and would be liked by one and all.
After wrapping up his part, super star would be off to his daughter Soundarya’s animation project Sultan, the Warrior. It has been said that few stunt and song sequences are required to be canned at Vietnam which Soundarya proposes to complete in the next schedule.
After finishing them Super star may take his favorite trip up in the Himalayas to recharge himself. Initially it has been reported that he would be off to Himalayas after Kucheludu but the plan has been changed to accommodate dates for his daughter. Once he gets back from his trip, he is likely to start work for Shankar’s Robot.

The ace cameraman told that this particular expensive style of lighting was used for a particular romantic scene and to help to shoot moonlight in a better way.

The film is directed and produced by Teja and introduces new comers in the lead. The film's shooting is going on in Hyderabad and is launching pad for lyricist Srivennela's son.

Rainbow Audio rocks market
The Rainbow audio album that had such a lavish launch recently, is doing very well on the Telugu film music charts, says its executive producer Kiran.
The film is jointly presented by Sri Siddartha Movies and Bharat Pictures; it is directed and produced by V.N. Aditya, who has given hits like Manasantha Nuvve and Nenunnanu. Rainbow is presently in the post-production stage. Rahul and Sonal Chauhan are the hero and heroine.
The executive producer said, "Post-production is proceeding at brisk pace and we intend to release the film in June."
Director said, "The movie is a college-based love story with a novel angle and all the required commercial elements in it.Three songs were shot abroad as the script required it. The film is meant to reflect the attitudes of the present generation."
Music is by Nihal; V.N. Aditya has handled story, screenplay and direction.
Kamals next movie after dasavtharam
After Dasavatharam, what’s next on Kamal Haasan’s menu? The actor has started pre-production work on his new film Marmayogi, which he is directing and producing.
It is a big budget extravaganza and he is talking to a few corporates to fund the project. Marmayogi is said to be a historical adventure romantic film with an ‘A’ list of actors. Kamal is trying to rope in a Bollywood actress and the buzz is that Kajol has been sounded about it.
The film will have music by AR Rahman. The rest of the cast and crew are being worked out. It will be the second time that Kamal is using an old MGR title for a film of his. The drubbing of Telangana Rashtra Samiti at the hustings has cleared the cloud and has set the platform for film star Chiranjeevi who was looking to take the plunge into politics. Party honchos, however, believe that now Chiru's party can go to the people with Samaikhya Andhra slogan. The release of Bujjigadu and Pandurangadu in the space of one week has improved the box office collections considerably. The week on the whole was okay and the coming weeks also look promising in terms of box office collections.
1. Pandurangadu
The film opened on a rather dull note with little hype and poor pre-release publicity. But Balakrishna's brilliant performance, particularly in the second half and his role as lord Krishna are a big draw. The added glamour of Sneha and Tabu and some good music by Keeravani make the film worth watching.
2. Bujjigadu
Bujjigadu made in Chennai opened to a lot of hype and expectations. Prabhas was desperately looking for a big hit. The film's big draw are Prabhas, Puri, Mohan Babu and of course Trisha. Prabhas looks good in his new style and he has also done a great job in the fights and dances.
3. Kantri

Ready releasing on June 19
‘Ready’ of Ram and Genelia, directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Ravikishore on the banner of Sravanthi Movies had completed all the shooting and post-production formalities. The first copy of the film is also almost ready.
Producer says, ‘We are making efforts to release the film on June 19. Devisri Prasad, scored fantastic tunes for the flick and the audio got a tremendous response. Brahmanandam, the Guinness Record holder, once again played a key roles on the lines of his latest film ‘Dhee’.
Ramcharan teja new film title?
According to sources, director Rajamouli is now facing a strange problem. It is said that he is unable to come up with a suitable title for the film. He has come up with not one or two but almost 30 names so far.
Among them, Dheerudu was said to have been more or less finalized but now even that is in doubt. None of the 30 odd titles suggested by Rajamouli have found favor with anyone. The search for a suitable title is still on.

Speaking to media after casting the Vote Megastar said ‘ Every citizen should utilize the opportunity to elect their leader to lead‘. and media asked to react on the Train , Megastar replied as ‘ Allu Arvind is looking after the Train‘.

Swathi (Colors fame) is now playing lead role in a Tamil film titled Subramanyapuram. After giving 'Color' to the popular TV show with her charm, Swathi appeared in few Telugu movies including one of the lead roles in Danger and supporting role in Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule.
Subramanyapuram is a film about a group of friends who don't care for anything. They become problematic in their place. Now a charming girls enters between them and what happens then is the story. The film is directed by M.Sasi Kumar, who earlier worked with directors Bala (Sethu) and Amir (Mounam Pesiyathe). In addition to directing the film, he is also producing it and acting in it.
Chiranjeevi party is Labor Party
As reported by a media source, the name of Chiranjeevi's party will be 'Labor Party' and the theme song of the party would be 'Nenu Saitam' from Tagore. The song even got a national award for the content.
Talking to the media today, Allu Aravind said that fans will have to wait for couple of more months and above information is confirmed by him. 'We all waited patiently for so long.. we should wait for couple of more months', said Allu Aravind. There were some pamphlets that read - Leader is Chiranjeevi, Radhasaradhi is Nagendra Babu, Vyuhakartha (strategist) is Allu Aravind, Dalapati is Pawan Kalyan and chief advisor is Mitra.
Harirama Jogayya is one politician, present Congress MP, who is being very vocal about Chiranjeevi's entry. He even publicly announced that if Chiranjeevi established a party, he would join it. Talking to a news media today, Jogayya announced that Chiranjeevi is blessed. 'Even during NTR time, the public did not go to NTR and requested him to start the party. He started the party and people voted for him. Chiranjeevi is in much better situation. He is being requested by the public and fans to come in to the politics and do good to them. He is blessed for that. What else is needed for someone to step into politics'. This he said in response to a question on if Chiranjeevi will have any hurdles.
When asked to compare on Balakrishna's entry, Harirama Jogayya said that there is lot of difference in the approach of the two. 'Chiranjeevi is willing to start his own party. So it is his own party, own mandate. Whereas Balakrishna is taking TDP's side. He is not the CM candidate. He is only canvassing for the CM candidate. So even if he wanted to do good for the society, it will not have the same impact. The comparison would have been different if Balakrishna also wanted to start his own party'.
Jogayya even confirmed that the public seemed to be very vexed with both YSR and CBN and that would be an added bonus if Chiranjeevi setup a party. There are good chances that Chiru party might tie up with Loksatta and left parties. Lok satta party and the leader Jayaprakash Narayana has a clean image and one of the most respectable politicians. Also, it is heard that a large number of leaders from both TDP and Congress would join Chiru's party. If this happens, it will be almost a political revolution in the state.
As per the media sources, party office will be launched on 15th of August and Chiru will start his tour in August. The party will have a mandate of social justice as the main criteria. Rural development and drinking water is any another key point in his mandate. Even there would be a department of anti-corruption in the Government.
All the TV channels have one job today - About Chiru party, running bulletins, gathering feedback etc. Overall, the feedback is very strong and positive. People are expecting him to clean up the mess in the politics and do good to the state. Shriya is hot and getting hotter!
With an appearance in Mission Istanbul, Shriya Saran is finally being recognized in Bollywood for her flexibility and hard work over the last few years. Her career is now expected to move into the Red Hot Zone.

Dasavatharam release postponed to june 13th
Kamal Hassan's much-awaited Dasavataram is officially hitting the screens worldwide with over 1000 prints on June 13th. Previously the flick was scheduled to release on June 6th, which date later got shifted to June 12th. The latest shift by a day is due to delay in the subtitle works meant for languages other than Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, according an official statement. Also a big relief prevails among the film unit with the Chennai court quashing a petition filed by a religious group against the film.
NTR looks good and handsome

Dashavatharam to be screened for George Bush.
With the court clearing the Public Litigation cases against Dasavatharam, the crew is gearing up for a second-week June release. However, another mammoth task in front of the producers is to screen the movie to the US president George Bush. As per latest reports, talks are on with the help of the producers’ US counterparts with Whitehouse officials to arrange for the screening.
It is learnt that since Bush, as the US president, is heading the efforts to make the world’s nations sign the Nuclear Non-proliferation treaty, it would only be apt to screen him the movie that urges that nuclear energy should only be used for constructive purposes and not to cause destruction.
Genelia is real innocent girl
While addressing the media, Genelia said, “People ask me why I continue to do the role of an innocent girl. I feel such roles fit me and I enjoy essaying such characters as it is very close to how I am in my real life”.
To a poser on whether she aims to win awards for her performance, she humbly declines the same and states that she is yet to rise up to that level and at the moment not too keen to feature in such films.

Her innocent smile, natural charm and trendy style has worked magic with the audiences for the last seven years. "My life’s just beginning.
When I started out, I said that for the first few years I’d have fun here. But now, I’m seriously considering acting as a profession. I aim to be successful, famous and a good actor and I’m pretty charged about it," she says.
Trisha means success in Russian; she is probably the only heroine after Sridevi to be successful in Tamil and Telugu. She has withstood pressures, controversies, competition and emerged on top due to her hard work and commitment. This year’s two big summer releases in Tamil (Kuruvi) and Telugu (Bujjigadu - Made in Chennai) featured her in the female lead. In the ad world, she is the hottest model and is brand ambassador for half a dozen consumer items.
Trisha, or Trash as she is affectionately known among her friends, is a big-budget survivor in an industry where top heroines burn out in two years. She came into films after being crowned Miss Chennai and made her debut as heroine in Lesa Lesa. This was followed by a string of superhits like Saamy, Ghillli, Tirupachi and Unakkum Enakkum. She tasted bigger success in Telugu with blockbusters like Nuvvostante Nenoddantana, Varsham, Athudu, Aadavari Matalaku Andhalu Verule, Krishna and other films. Till date, the lass has acted in 28 films- 18 in Tamil and 10 in Telugu.
Her winsome smile, sharp features and an hour-glass figure are her strengths that have taken her to the masses. Trisha is probably the only Tamil girl who has made it big in the last 10 years in an industry full of North Indian and Malayalee girls. Quiz her about her success and survival instincts, the actress shoots back- "It’s a lot of hard work and a bit of luck; one has to be at the right place at the right time." Her hit ratio in Telugu seems far better (75 percent) than in Tamil (50 percent). "I cannot understand why my Telugu films do better than my Tamil ones. It may be because the roles I do in Telugu gave me a lot more scope to perform and they never wasted me. I think Tamil cinema is too hero-centric," says the actress who has won two Filmfare and two State awards for her roles in Telugu films.
She is one actress who loves to experiment with her looks and goes for styling at regular intervals. When she experiments, it generates a lot of attention. When she had a Nemo fish tattoo done just below her left shoulder, it was news. And now, it is the Swarovski crystal on her teeth that is making news.
Trisha says that she has no regrets about doing some films which turned out to be bad at the end. "I don’t regret any movie that I have done. I sign a film more on my gut feeling and sometimes at the end of it, they may not work," she adds.
Trisha is currently working on director Gautham Menon’s Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam with a bunch of newcomers. She enthuses: "To me, the main attraction of the film was working with Gautham". She informs us that her role in the film is something that she has never attempted before. She is also working on a film titled Sarwam directed by Vishnuvardhan of Billa fame and a film with Radhamohan (titled Abhiyum Nanum) of Mozhi fame.
Controversies have chased this actress at regular intervals. If it was the MMS clips a few years ago, it was her road rage on the ECR and frequent partying that were talked about. But of late, the actress has been keeping an extremely low profile and keeping away from the press. "Controversies are part of stardom but the press tries to blow it out of proportion. At the end of the day, it is my work in films that should speak," she says. About partying, she asks, "What’s wrong in partying? I am a young and independent girl and have never denied that I have a lot of friends with whom I am comfortable. After a hard day’s shoot, I need to unwind and be relaxed. I don’t see anything wrong in it and it’s my private life".
Quiz her about competition and she frowns: "It’s a rat race out here. A new girl comes to the industry every other day. The moment you trip, there’s someone ready to take your place and there’s no room for error". About her recent fall out with Nayanthara, the actress says that she has no issues with anyone. "She has never been my close buddy though we hung around together. I’m closest to Reema and Shriya as we bond well. But, we don’t discuss work. After all, it takes two to tango!"
prakash raj banned from tollywood
TFPC, Telugu Film Producers Council has given an advertisement in all leading Telugu News dailies today- asking all the Telugu producers not to utilize the services of Prakash Raj any more in Telugu films.
It informed that a resolution to this extent was inked in this regard at a coordination meeting of the TFPC and Movie Artistes' Association, dated March 19th, 2008 has clarified that he will not be lending any services to the producers who are using the services of Prakash Raj.
Prakash Raj kept out Tollywood in tune with allegations against him.

Kundarika ( Balakrishna ) is a follower of Lord Krishna but for the wrong reasons. He does all the mischievous things that Lord Krishna did in his reign. Once when his family members ask him to marry he leaves his village and runs away. After his family members perform a yagnam he comes back to his village. In the neighboring village Lakshmi ( Sneha ) is a big devotee of Lord Krishna. One night Lord Krishna appears in her dreams and asks her to marry Kundarika. So Lakshmi's father approaches Bala Krishna but he refuses. Later after some persuasion from Lakshmim, Kundarika accepts the marriage.
In the mean time Amrutha ( Tabu ) a dancer comes to their village. Kundarika is mesmerized by her beauty and goes into a relationship with her. He offers all the gold in the house to her. But after the marriage he stops visiting Amrutha. Knowing this Amrutha's mother calls Kundarika for a meal and serves poison to him and grabs all his wealth. The rest of the movie is how Kundarika turns to Lord Krishna's devotee and get backs to his family....
Highlights
Nandamuri Balakrishna's action in the movie is the top notch. He managed the dual roles of Lord Krishna and Kundarika very well. He adjusted from the woman's man role to devotee role very well. Balakrishna as Lord Krishna made the audience think of Sr.NTR .
Sneha's acting has done a good job as wife of Balakrishna. K.Vishwanth as always stealed the show with his acting. Mohan Babu's guest role is brief but brilliant. Raghavendra Rao's direction showed in the songs. Also he succeeded in showing the movie differently when compared to his previous movies.
The taking second half of the film is simply awesome. Second Half of the movie dominates. Kiravani's tunes added to the movie.
Sidelights:
L.B. Sri Ram as Narada did not fit the role. Bharavi's story is not as effective as his previous ones. The graphic work in the movie is too weak to handle. The story is the first half seems a little bit dragged. There is no much comedy in the movie. The comedy scenes involving Sunil, Ali and Dharmavaram Subramanyam pertained to a few giggles in the audience. Raghavendra Rao's selection of character artists for Lord Krishna's wives did not please the audience.
Sania mirza in Naga chaithanya debut film
It is long known that Nagarjuna’s son, Naga Chaitanya, will make his debut in a film directed by Puri Jagannath, the specialist in launching star sons. At present, the young scion of the Akkineni family is taking voice modulation lessons and dancing, martial arts and acting lessons in preparation for his debut.
According to sources close to Puri Jagannath, who is flying high on Bujjigadu’s success, Sania Mirza will do a five-minute cameo appearance opposite the young debutant. In fact, Nagarjuna had approached the tennis star personally for this role. He had previously approached Sania to act in his next film, but Sania had been focussing on her career and had turned him down.
Sania Mirza’s cameo is more or less confirmed in Naga Chaitanya’s debut film, though the lead heroine hasn’t been confirmed yet!

chiranjeevi party name among these 3?
In all likelihood, Mana Desam will be the name of film star Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited political party. If Chiru camp insiders are to be believed, the mega star will register his party’s name with the Election Commission in about 10 days.
Chiranjeevi had a meeting with his close confidant Allu Aravind, political advisor Mitra and ophthalmologist Prasad Reddy on Tuesday night.
During the two-hour-long meeting, they are understood to have discussed three names - Jai Chiranjeeva, Eye Party and Mana Desam. The actor preferred Eye Party but divided opinion and fear that it may not go down well with the masses persuaded him to zero in on Mana Desam (our country). The others too felt Mana Desam would be apt.
Sources said unless there were last minute changes, Chiranjeevi's political outfit will be Mana Desam. Finally, it appears the D-Day is not far off.

Simran Marapu Rani Kathalu, which will be telecast on MAA TV, is not a daily soap and that’s exactly what excited me. It chronicles various small stories filled with humour, emotions and drama. I will play the lead character in all these stories — each role is different from the other. Each story will end in a month.
Q On juggling between family, films, TV...
I make a timetable and adhere to it daily. I am lucky to get all support from my husband Deepak and son Odo, and this keeps me going.
Q The television industry is said to lure film artists with moolah...
(Smiling) Oh! I did not know that.
Q Telugu TV industry versus Tollywood?
I feel the shoots, schedules and the takes are almost the same in both; it’s only the scale which makes it look larger or smaller.

Along with this soap, I am doing three Tamil films I also have a couple of game shows lined up. With so much on my plate, I think Tollywood will have to wait.

This is the final confirmed news regarding Pandurangadu. The film is not releasing on 28th May as planned earlier. It is hitting screens on 30th May. Before that it is going for censor on 26th May. Inside sources say that the film has come out in wonderful fashion and it would stand as best hit in 2008 basing on several factors.
First half appeals for mass audiences with full dose of romance and glamour show by Tabu and other heroines. Second half runs on parental sentiment, which proves to be the best part of the film. Balakrishna's performance is being extolled in big way by inside sources.
In fact Balayya's passion is to act in mythological films. The best performance comes out when something is worked with passion.
Jr Aishwarya Affected Badly With Sambar
Sneha Ullal turned many heads with her good looks and a svelte figure. She was so gorgeous that she was named as Jr. Aisjwarya Rai.
She also has some uncanny resemblance to Aishwarya. She bagged some roles in films based purely on her looks.
Sneha is now acting in the Telugu film 'Ullasamga… Uthsahanga'. She is now spending a lot of time in the south in connection with her film assignments. Shankar imports Computers from USA for Robot
The Shankar – Rajinikanth magnum opus, Robot, has begun groundwork work and research. With director Shankar importing computers from America that will be employed for the special effects in the movie, Robot is more or less underway
Keeping in mind the Internet-sneaking-of-Sivaji-images that remained unsolved despite the tight security arrangements in place during Sivaji’s shoots, Shankar has left no stones unturned this time around to make sure that the computers are tucked away secretively in a Gemini lab. Balakrishna as police officer in 'Sadhu'
Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest film 'Pandurangadu' is all set for release on May 30. Even as the film is about to hit the screen, Balakrishna started playing hero in a film under the direction of Gunasekhar, which is being produced by MS Raju on the banner of Sumanth Arts.
'Sadhu' is the title under consideration for the movie.
Though the shooting of the film had begun long ago, the entire unit is maintaining a low-profile, in the wake of MS Raju's successive failures.
It is learnt that Balakrishna is playing the role of a powerful police officer in the movie on the lines of 'Rowdy Inspector'. The role would be further powerful than 'Lakshmi Narasimha', the director claims.
However, who are playing the female leads and it is still unclear as to who were the other artistes and technicians in the film.
Dasavatharam release date confirmed
Yes, all the fans of Kamal have a reason to rejoice. The much awaited magnum opus of Padmashri Kamal Hassan will be release worldwide on June 6th. The film is slated to be released initially in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi with 1000 prints.

'Bujjigadu-Chiranjeevi Fan' Shifted To Rajnikanth fan
It was 'Bujjigadu-Chiranjeevi Fan' in initial script of the film. The film runs in the background of a village in West Godavari district. But Mohan Babu expressed his stern opposition towards that. He opposed that although not given a role in that. Puri Jagannatha and KS Rama Rao have faced the anger of Mohan Babu in this regard.
After reacting to Mohan Babu positively they agreed to him and offered him a role as well. Hence the title was changed to 'Bujjigadu-Made in Chennai' and replaced Chiranjeevi-subject with Rajni Kanth. The story backdrop also changed to Chennai from village in West Godavari.
Prabhas played the role of Rajni Kanth's fan in that. This is the hot rumor that is making rounds in Film Nagar today at the outset of the film's release.
Bikini girl Nayanatara is secular

The film's success is very crucial in more ways than one. The first is that Balakrishna is desperate to score a big hit. His last few films did not do well at the box office at all. If Pandurangadu clicks, then it will open a new chapter in Tollywood in terms of mythological films, already with a success track of 'Annamayya' and 'Sree Ramadasu'.

Bujji runs away from home after his neighbor and love interest Chitti refuses to speak to him over a trivial fight; promising to speak after 12 years and then marry him. Years later, Bujji who grows up away from his family in Chennai returns to Vizag to find that Chittis family shifted base to Hyderabad. He gets stuck in a police case because of his friend Satti, a petty smuggler and gets a contract to kill in the jail. The target is Sivanna, whom his rival gang are trying to wipe out for the longest time. Bujjis in Hyderabad, searching for Chitti, who is also desperately trying to locate him. His attempt on Sivannas life is futile but he lands up in Sivannas house and his motives go for a toss. Story, Screenplay and Direction : Slowly, bad is becoming the new good even in Telugu cinema. The change is subtle, but it is there. People who kill, take contracts to kill, gangsters, anti-social elements are no longer the bad guys only. They can be good guys in the bad business. Shankar Goud of Dhee is one such character in recent times who clicked with the audiences. Pokiri of course is an undercover cop, so that doesnt count. Bujji and Sivanna, on the other hand, are actually speaking anti-social, but that seems not to be an issue-they are still the Heroes. That apart, the movie itself has some entertaining bits, where the actual love story is concerned. That story creates interest, the gang wars and the rival gang leader taking a liking to the killer hired to finish him off-that creates interest. The concepts by itself are interesting, but the narrative is unable to sustain that interest. The second half fizzles out slowly but surely, and the only thing that keeps the attention is that Chitti doesnt get to know Bujjis identity till the nth moment, because he introduces himself as Rajnikant. The whole Tamil angle is new, but it would work out well were the rest of the movie as strong as Prabhass Tamil. There is a fight in a poultry farm in the beginning where the actor gets to show off his new lean look. The rest of the action sequences (there are many) are routine, but the one where he tries to kill Sivanna is okay. Puri always works out the protagonists characters details very fervently, and tends to create quirky characters-thats his strength. Bujji has that, at least, and what with his calling everyone Darling and killing a guy with a single punch, he keeps you awake. The entire movie, unfortunately, doesnt try too hard to do that.
Prabhas gets rid of his sleepy look and drops his droopy eyed style and adopts a whole new style funda to make Bujji convincing as a character. His new lean and mean look will get admirers and is a whole lot better than his bulked up frame in Munna. He plays Bujji well, and is spontaneous in the movie. Mohanbabu follows up on his Silllieeee Fellow act, and though for the first few scenes, he comes across as totally evil and totally fascinating for that (orders a strong cup of tea while killing people), the way Sivannas written, he turns from black to grey to off-white. So its not as thunderous as say, a consistent character like Yama, who simply has a change of heart in Yamadonga. Trisha is okay, and has a good chemistry with Prabhas. Sanjana has little to do except smile sweetly. Kota as Sivannas rival and Subbaraju and Ajay as his sons justify their roles. Suneel is okay, Alis comedy is a little vulgar. Music and Dance : The music is okay, with two songs that grow on you. The picturization of Talaiva and Love Me and Mumaits item number is like that of a music video. Prabhas has become more flexible and the choreography of the final duet is likable. Analysis : The movie starts off on a promising note, the protagonist is well written albiet bordering on the negative side and the music is not bad. But the narrative, especially in the second half does nothing to elevate the entertainment quotient of the movie and it turns into a routine flick that actually drags at the climax. | ||

There are a number of rumours doing the rounds in Tollywood about the story of the film. Some rumours even say the writer Madhubabu (detective Shadow fame) has provided the story for the film. But Madhubabu denied that he has provided the story for the film.
Prabhas has been struggling hard to lay his hands on the elusive big hit for a long time now. He pairs up with the sexy and in form Trisha in the film. Incidentally, this is his third film with Trisha. Their previous films were 'Varsham' and 'Pournami'.
Prabhas plays the role of a hardcore fan of superstar Rajnikanth in the film. There are many scenes that show Prabhas expressing his love and admiration for his idol. Prabhas also speaks with a Tami accent and there are also several Tamil words in the film. It is only natural as the hero is shown as being brought up in the city.
Mohan Babu is one of the finest actors in Tollywood. It is with this in mind that director Puri Jagannath requested him to take up the role in the film. When Puri went to narrate the story to Mohan Babu, asked Puri to sum up his role in one just word. Puri told him that he was a 'rascal' in the film. This was sufficient for Mohan Babu and he readily agreed to star in the film. He is playing the role of Trisha's sister.
The name of Trisha's character in the movie is 'Chitti'. The interaction between Mohan Babu and hero Prabhas and his dialogues are the highlight of the film. Mohan Babu's excessive possessiveness of his sister, Trisha, and the related scenes have also come off very well.Prabhas is playing an out and out mass hero in the film. His body language, dialogues and action are aimed at establishing him firmly as a popular mass hero. The film has already earned a very positive talk and it is likely to become a big hit.
Superstar Rajnikanth unveiled the audio of Bujjigadu at the Andhra Club in Chennai recently. Puri has given several hits in recent times. His last two films, 'Desamuduru' with Allu Arjun and 'Chirutha' with Ram Charan were big hits. He hopes to score yet another big hit with Bujjigadu.

Mahesh Babu is getting bigger by day. Tamil superstar Rajnikant's daughter Soundarya has now signed him up. Soundarya who has just turned producer and associated with Hollywood giant Warner Brothers has roped in Mahesh Babu and hotshot director Puri Jagannadh for her maiden Telugu production. Yes, the Pokiri team is repeating again. Soundarya has made Mahesh and Puri to agree to work again. The film will begin in January 2008.
Soundarya's company, Ocher Studios, has entered into an exclusive multi-picture deal with Warner Bros Pictures India. She is already producing a film in Tamil with hero Ajith on part of this deal. Gunashekar wants NTR first heroine
Gunashekar is now making a film with hero Nagarjuna in the lead as per unofficial talk. The film will hit the floor only after Nagarjuna completes work on his new film 'King' directed by Srinu Vytla and 'Dad' by Lawrence, say sources.
Gunashekar is making a film based on a novel written by Adavi Bapiraju. The character is Gona Gangareddy, a valiant fighter who fought the imperialist British forces during the freedom struggle.

Nagarjuna in comedy role
Among all the top stars of the Telugu film industry, Nagarjuna earned the name of a romantic hero.
However, he played perfect comedy roles in several films like 'Allari Alludu, Hello Brother, Manmadhudu' and all of them were proved hits.
However, Nagarjuna used to do such comedy entertainers selectively. After 'Manmadhudu', Nagaruna kept a comma for such comedy films and after a long gap gave his nod to one such entertainer under the direction of Sreenu Vaitla, who gave a hilarious hit like 'Dhee' recently.
Sivaprasada Reddy is producing the movie on the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies. Another speciality is that Trisha is pairing up with the Yuva Samrat for the first time and the regular shooting of the film would begin in June.

NTR says ' I am waiting for a call from Ravi Kishore'
NTR and Dr Ramanaidu released the music of Devadasu Ram's Ready- dhemnikaina in a function held in Hyderabad on the evening of 19th May.
NTR released the audio CD of the film and Ramanaidu released the first unit of the audio cassette and handed over to hero Tarun.
NTR was speaking on the occasion said 'Ram's powerhouse performance. Sreenu Vytla's entertaining narration and Devi Sree Prasad'd energetic music is the success formula for this film and I am waiting for a call from producer Sravanthi Ravikishore for 100 days function to be held'.

Balakrishna to join TDP on NTR's birthday.
Family members of former chief minister and Telugu Desam founder N.T. Rama Rao will celebrate his birth anniversary at the Telugu Desam state headquarters, NTR Bhavan, on May 28. This is the first time that the family of N.T. Rama Rao will celebrate his birthday at the TD party office.
However, the former chief minister and TD president, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, and NTR’s son, Mr Nandamuri Harikrishna, will be away at Jaggaiahpet in Krishna district as part of the ongoing Mee Kosam road show. The two will celebrate the event with party workers at Jaggaiahpet. According to Mr Naidu, NTR’s family members including film actors Nandamuri Balakishna, Kalyan Ram and Jr NTR will donate blood at NTR Bhavan.
Mr Naidu’s wife and NTR’s daughter Bhuvaneswari, Balakrishna’s wife and other family members too will be present. The Telugu Desam has been celebrating NTR’s birthday, which coincides with the party’s annual general body meeting, Mahanadu. But Mr Naidu postponed Mahanadu in view of the and May 29 byelections in Telangana and invited NTR’s family to celebrate the event at the party’s headquarters.
“Our family members will participate in the celebrations at NTR Bhavan,” Mr Naidu sannounced after the party’s politburo meeting at Aushapur in Ranga Reddy district. Mr Naidu presided over party’s politburo at Aushapur before entering the city to campaign at Musheerabad and Secunderabad Assembly constituencies where bypolls are being held.

Tabu the middle-aged actress still remains hot among Andhra audiences.
Her last release Idhi Sangathi, which starred her in the lead role, bombed at the box office, but made the Telugu audiences once again see the sensuous actress in the best of her expose.
Currently, she is doing a key and hot role opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in Pandurangadu, which is set for release on May 28th. If that is not enough for her fans, then you can see Tabu even hotter.
For die-hard Tabu fans, her next film Naa Intlo Oka Roju the dubbed version of Hindi film Hawa is a sure treat. Tabu plays the role of Sanjana, who gets divorced. The lady with her brother and two daughters and a dog relocates to a lonely house in a forest.
Sanjana begins to see some odd situations taking place there, especially when her house is struck by lightening. She and her daughters are repeatedly and mysteriously raped. An evil spirit is found to be behind the sexual assault.
We have to wait and see how our Telugu audiences would receive this tension-filled horror drama.

Salman Khan Slapped Katrina Again
Salman Khan hardly mends his ways. He is losing all of his girl friends due to his aggressive nature. He missed Sangeetha Bijlani and then Aishwarya Rai only because of his wild nature. A few weeks ago he slapped Katrina in a coffee club publicly but she denied the reports.
Now again Salman came to a film city in Mumbai knowing that Katrina is in final schedule of the shooting of the film ‘Yuvraj‘. He dashed into her caravan and locked the door from inside. Then a couple of shouts from Salman and a slapping sound followed by a wail by Katrina are heard from outside. Then Sallu rushed out with a stern grimace. After a while Katrina walked out from the caravan wearing dark goggles hiding her eyes.
Well, Salman is getting a new girl friend whenever he is losing an old one. Hence he hardly finds the need to mend his ways, may be. All this anger of Salman Khan is due to his suspicion that she is moving close with Akshay Kumar. Media also hyped on the ‘alleged affair‘ between Katrina and Akshay.

A new movie is started with real star Sri Hari and Aryan Rajesh as heroes. This is been directed by Rama Krishna under Living Legends Creation banner and produced by L.Eswar. The muhurat shot was picturised on Monday morning at Ramanaidu cine village, Naanak Ramguda, Hyderabad. For which well known producer C.Kalyan gave clap and popular actor cum producer Santhakumari switch on the camera.
Real star Sri Hari gave direction on muhurat day. Shradha Arya (Godava fame) is playing the female lead role. Chandra Mohan, CharanRaj, Kota Srinivasarao, Jeeva, Ali, Santosh Pawan, Chitram Srinu, Raghu Babu, Krishna Bagwan, Suman Shetti and others are the supporting characters in the film. The main back drop of the film is a cute love story with suspense element which actually happens by a missed call. Dialogues by Ratnababu, songs by vanamali, music composed by Agathya, story-screenplay-direction by Rama Krishna.

Her debut film Sawal turned out to be a flop show but the erstwhile child artiste, SUHANI, walked away with all the accolades for her performance. The actress is hopeful that her second venture, Krishi, will help her register her maiden BO success.
"It feels very flattering to have people come up to me and say nice things about my work. I have a great role in Krishi and am very confident that the film will be appreciated by the audience," says Suhani. The film is ready for release but that‘s not all.
Director KS Nageswararao has signed up Suhani for a new film. Apparently the actress has been getting many offers to act in Tamil films as well, but she is focused on Telugu ventures for the moment. Things are definitely looking bright for this college going actress.

Sequel to Arya from Allu Arjun & Sukumar
Dil Raju made the film Arya with Bunny and Sukumar. That film was a big hit at the box office.
Now Sukumar is getting ready to make the sequel to his Arya. Allu Arjun will be the hero in this sequel. Chatrapthi Sivaji and Jagadam producer Aditya are jointly producing this sequel.
Dil Raju has bought the Nizam rights of this film.
