Sontha Vooru, which released in this year have been selected for Mumbai International film festival.In fact it is the only telugu movie that was screened in the festival. Almost 200 films from more than 50 countries were screened at the festival.
Though Sontha vooru did not do well commercially, it is well accliamed by critics. LB Sreeram, Raja , Tanikella bharani everyone in the movie performed naturally. The story is thought provoking. The movie got appreciations from other famous directors when it was filmed at the festival.
