Story:

Sandeep(Allu Arjun) alias Sandy is a cool going guy who has lot of respect for both love and arranged marriage. He gets a job in US and his parents(Suhasini, Asish Vidyarthi) wants sandy to get married before leaving to states. Sandy tells their parents that he doesn't have any girl friend and asks his parents to search a beautiful girl for him. He further decides not to see the photograph of the girl to whom he is getting married before marriage. In the marriage both see each other and falls in love at first sight but suddenly a twist comes. What is the Twist? What happened to the Bride? Did the lead pair get married or not forms the crux of the story.

Performance:

Allu Arjun is good as usual in sentimental scenes and dances however he needs to improve his dialogue delivery a lot. The dialogue 'Magatanam unte' lacks the required punch due to the bad dialogue delivery of Allu Arjun.

Heroine Bhanu Mehra whose face was hidden by Gunasekhar until the movie release is not that beautiful. She is just OK. Earlier she did a small role in Bollywood movie Bachna Ae Haseeno.

Tamil actor Arya did role of villian in this movie. His characterization was well written and audience felt that his role even dominated the role of hero during second half.

Others did their part well.

Final Verdict:

The first half of the movie is good which tells about the Five day marriage in olden days. Second half is uninteresting and unappealing. Audience felt bored in the second half with no twists and interesting sub plots. Even some shouted in the movie during second half, "Tondaraga heroine ni pelli chesuko memu intiki veltam". Gunasekhar failed in direction department. The movie is just better than Sainikudu. Allu Arjun is the only saving grace of the movie.

Bottom Line:

Watch it for just time pass. Don't expect more.

Pawan Kalyan's Love Aaj Kal movie Launched

Pawan Kalyan's new movie in the direction of Jayanth.C.Paranji launched yesterday amid Dasari Narayana Rao, Allu Aravind, Raghavendra Rao, Botsa Satyanarayana, Komiti Reddy venkat reddy, J.C Diwakar reddy etc. Comedian Ganesh who earlier produced Anjaneyulu with Ravi Teja is producing this movie. Trivikram Srinivas is penning dialogues for the movie.

The movie is a remake of 2009 bollywood hit Love Aaj Kal starrer Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, in which the hero plays dual role one in the present year and one in 50 years back. The movie shows the difference between the Love in both generations. Two heroines will be roped in for the movie. The names are yet to be announced officially.

Trisha's Bollywood Teacher !

For someone who’s had a rocking innings in T-Town, Trisha Krishnan is on a break for the time being. After Namo Venkatesa, she hasn’t signed a single Tollywood project in 2010 and also walked out of Ravi Teja’s new film. What’s up with her we wonder… has she given up on her Tollywood career? “Nothing of that sort. T-town has been treating me great, so I don’t need a break. I couldn’t do Ravi Teja’s film since it got postponed and my dates went unused in February and March. Now they want dates in April but I had already allotted those dates to my Hindi film Khatta Meeta and Kamal sir’s new Tamil film,” she explains. However, Trisha says she’s going to bounce back in Tollywood very soon with a big-ticket entertainer.

We’ve also heard that she’s generously doled out innumerable dates for her B-town debut. “I spared 120 days for the film, since Priyadarshan works very fast in comparison to other Bollywood filmmakers. He has wrapped up most of the shooting, we only have a 15-day schedule left,” she says. And she reserves special praise for co-star Akshay Kumar. “Akshay’s known to have great comic timing, I think even my comic timing is good as I have done lots of Tamil and Telugu comedy flicks. Besides comedy, the film has its share of emotional moments too. Working with Akshay has been a pleasant experience, he has been a good teacher. I have learnt a lot from him,” she confesses. Is her three-film contract with the superstar still on? “Of course. I have to do another film for Akshay’s production house, either with him or some other actor,” she discloses.

Now that she is 26, does she think, she should have kick started her B-town innings, a bit earlier? “I don’t think so. It doesn’t matter too much when you make your debut in Bollywood, what matters is the kind of project you make your debut in. I had received a couple of Hindi film offers in the past, but they didn’t seem exciting. So, when my mentor Priyadarshan offered me this meaty role, I just grabbed it,” she says. Trisha’s also signed Kamal’s next film, simply after hearing the story line over the phone. “The plot sounded interesting. Working with Kamal sir is a great honour, so it’s like a double bonanza for me,” she confesses.

Does she think being a multilingual actress is an advantage? “Of course it is. I can choose the best from the varied offers I keep getting. And also being confined to a single film industry, could curtail an actress’ career. I can do films in most southern languages and they allow me to present myself better. It works well for me,” she points out.

Trisha’s also a popular brand ambassador of leading products. “I have just signed three more endorsements to expand by brand equity,” she avers. And for the time being, it’s only work, work and more work for the pretty actress. So much so that for the first time in years, Trisha’s not taking a summer vacation either!

Southern Heroes haven't noticed this Actress!

She charmed everyone as a small town girl in Bachna Ae Haseeno. In Kidnap, she slipped into a bikini and now Minissha Lamba is all set to play a Hyderabadi in her forthcoming film. While working with Shyam Benegal is a big achievement for any actor, the toughest task at hand for Minissha was getting the rural act right. “It’s one of the most difficult characters that I’ve ever played,” says Minissha about her role in the film. “Firstly, I didn’t know how to speak Hyderabadi Hindi. I had to be tutored. But the greatest comfort for an actor is to have someone like Shyam Benegal direct him/her. He’s very precise about what he wants and what he doesn’t,” says Minissha.

Ask her if she learnt about the other aspects of filmmaking while working in the movie and the actor is quick to reply, “I have to first learn how to act properly, only then can I think of learning the other aspects of film-making.”

With a number of films under her belt, one wonders what makes Minissha make such statements? “As an actor you have to evolve every time you go on the sets. You can learn so much after working with different directors. They teach you the finer nuances of acting. Innovation is the key to your performance. There are times when I begin to panic on the sets, because I’m worried if I can do justice to a scene. That’s when the director pumps up your confidence and steers you towards a good performance. I’m yet to master all these things,” she explains.

With just one film hitting the screens this year, has she decided to limit herself to doing fewer films in a year? “Not really. It all depends on how many good films come my way. If I have enough dates to do more films, I’ll readily accept.” So will it be more serious roles for her from now on? “See, I’m primarily an entertainer. I don’t mind dancing around trees and romancing the hero as long as the audience enjoys it.” While talking about dancing around trees, one cannot but ask her about heroes from down South. “Well, I don’t mind doing a good film down South, provided I like the script. But so far, I don’t think the southern heroes have even noticed me,” she says with a laugh, before signing off.

Bechari Katrina Kaif. Wherever she goes, controversy follows. (Or should we say our ‘spies’ follow?). One of our ‘reporters’ allege that they saw Ms Kaif drop by at Film City — on, hold your breath — Ranbir Kapoor’s sets. And no, they weren’t shooting together. Katz was on the sets of her own film (Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan) with Akshay Kumar, and Ranbir was shooting a commercial at the sprawling Film City on another set. But the courteous Ms Kaif dropped in to exchange pleasantries with the heartthrob. And it was all very fine and well-meaning, we thought. Until one of our sources informed that supposedly, Katz wasn’t really required on the sets of her own film at all that day. And that she had simply dropped in to meet Farah ‘just like that’. We hear that the smirk and look on Farah’s face had to be seen to be believed. But we say ‘pah’ to such casual gossip, darlings.
