Neelakanta's Mr. Medhavi Audio Released

Thamballapalle MLA K. Prabhakar Reddy released the audio cassette of Lifestyle Art Pictures' Neelakanta-directed Mr. Medhavi [Raja, Genelia] at a function at Padmalaya Studios on Sunday, December 23 by handing over the first copy to MS Reddy. Jamuna released the audio CD and Lokeswara Rao received the first CD.

Also present were Sreenu Vaitla, Chandra Siddharth, Brahmanandam, Suresh, music director Chakri, lyricist Kandikonda and Hema. Aditya Music is marketing the music.

Manoj's next titled 'Nenu Meeku Telusa'

Manchu Manoj Kumar Babu is starting a new film with a variety title 'Nenu Meeku Telusa', after a long gap. He acted in three movies till now which were all flops. So this time he will be working for a movie with a new and novel story. The movie will be directed by a debutant director Ajay Sastry who once worked as an assosiate to Krishna Vamsi. This movie will start its shooting from January 2008. More information regarding the cast and crew is awaited.

Nisha in 'Hari Om'

The Ram Gopal Varma's discovery, honey-eyed Nisha Kothari is recently signed in on to act in another Telugu film, 'Hari Om'. At present, she is acting opposite Balakrishna, in 'Okka Magadu'. The film makers's eye-brows have raised by her dicision in an all new comers' movie. Hero Shekhar, director Ramanalok and the production banner Jayalaxmi Talkies are the first timers to the filmdom. Nisha justifies her decision by saying that the story impressed her. Now the film is in shooting at Ramoji Film City.

Balakrishna was spotted at Tirumala on the auspicious occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

He was accompanied by his daughter Brahmanni and son-in-law Lokesh. Today, the audio of Okka Mogadu is being released.

Balakrishna is in great demand following the market hype that 'Okka Magadu' has created.

However, he is currently shooting for Panduranga.

The film’s shooting will be resumed in the new year, from January 5 to be precise.

Manisha Koirala to do item number in Nagaram

Popular actress Manisha Koirala will appear in an item number in Telugu. CC Srinivas is directing the film with Srikanth, Kaveri Jha in the lead. Jagapati Babu is playing a key role in the film. The makers have roped in Manisha Koirala, hearthrob of the nation a while ago, to do an item number in the film. During her career peak, Manisha acted in all South Indian languages and was top actress in Bollywood. She was then out of sight for a while and she recently produced a film too. It will surely be exciting to see Manisha on big screen in a Telugu film.

Chiranjeevi's Father Expired

Mega Star Chiranjeevi's father Konidela Venkat Rao expired early this morning. He has been suffering from ill health from quite some time. He acted in films like Mantrigari Viyyankudu and Jagat Kiladeelu. He started his career as police constable and then entered Excise Department as Superintendent. He hails from Mogaltur in West Godavari. Chiranjeevi's home is fixed in grief now.

Mohanbabu‘s Powerful Role In Bujjigadu

It seems like director Puri Jagannadh will be swinging the magic wand to revive the career of actor Prabhas. Prabhas, whose last film, Munna, bombed at the box office, has signed up with the maverick director for the film Bujjigadu…..made in Chennai. The film will bring together Trisha and Prabhas for the third time.But adding extra spice to this treat will be veteran actor-film maker Mohan Babu. KS Ramarao has now officially confirmed that Mohanbabu is indeed playing a ‘powerful‘ role in Bujjigadu. The actor will be portraying the role of Trisha’s brother in the film which is being written-directed by Puri Jagannath.The unit of the film is currently shooting in Hyderabad and the next shooting schedule will be held in Vizag in January.Music by Sandeep Chowta, cinematography by Shyam K. Naidu, action by Vijayan, art by Chinna, editing by Varma are the other credits. Sanjana is playing the second female lead.
