Aamir Khan’s Ghajini beats Om Shanti Om distribution rights

Hindi remake of the Tamil Ghajini starring Aamir Khan and Asin has earned an estimated Rs 90 crore by selling its distribution rights.

Aamir Khan’s Ghajini remake in Hindi has beaten SRK’s Om Shanti Om distribution rights. It was reported that rights of om shanti om was sold to Eros Entertainment for Rs 73 crore.

The TV commercial revolves around a pulse racing car chase by Mahesh Babu to get his bottle of Thums Up, which is lodged in a truck. How Mahesh manages to maintain his breath taking speed in the tight and restricted lanes with his complete mastery over the car resulting in some breathtaking stunts forms the essence of the story.

The buzz is that Priyamani is likely to be Gopichand’s heroine for his next project under the direction of debutant Vasu.

But when contacted the actress denies saying: “I too read the news on Internet but as of now, they haven’t contacted me”. Priyamani seems to be going great guns after successful films like Pellaina Kothalo, Yamadonga and Nava Vasantham.

Currently Priya is doing an untitled film with hero Kalyan Ram for which she plans to dub in her own voice for the first time in Telugu. She is also excited about her new Tamil film Thotta releasing on Feb 29.
