Did Simran change her dress in the car?

An hour before the TV launch in Chennai, Simran had gone to attend another function at a school in Chennai, where she turned up looking lovely in a designer saree. As soon as the event finished, she stepped into her car and drove straight to Residency Towers for launching TV.

Photographers, who followed her from one venue to the next, were stunned to see the actress emerge dressed in jeans and a kurta. Simran, who is clearly conscious about her public image, seemed to have changed outfits in the car.

Pawan in new getup for Puli

Puli- Pawan’s dream role begins to roll from 24th April.

Puli- is the next title for Pawan Kalyan’s next film. The film will begin to roll from 24th April. SJ Surya who directed a super hit film Kushi for Pawan 7 years back is doing this film.

We have seen Pawan with Miltary cutting and big mustache. This is the style of Pawan for Puli. The Puli is to fight against corruption.

Incidentally Megastar’s proposed political party is also planned to build on fight against corruption. So Pawan’s Puli may support Megastar’s Political ideology through a message from the film.

Pawan planned similar movie titled Sathyagrahi with AM Rathnam but that couldn’t materialize somehow.

Madhavan to shed weight for kamal hasan's daughter
Tamil superstar R. Madhavan needs to shed six kilograms to look compatible on screen with Shruti,Tamil entertainment heavyweight Kamal Haasan's daughter, who is set to make her debut with the star. Madhavan and Shruti will team up for Marathi director Nishikant Kamat's yet to be titled romantic-thriller. Madhavan told, "Until the contract was signed, we were not allowed to announce Shruti's name. It's a love story set in a strong thriller format. I had gone to Britain and lost over 10 kg last year. But then for Nishikant Kamat's Tamil version of Dombivli Fast, I have to go back to looking like a blob. So I'm back to weighing 80 kg. But to look compatible with Shruti (who's about 10 years younger to Madhavan), I've to bring my weight down to 74 kg and I have to do it immediately." The actor has been given a timeframe to get into youthful shape. "When you're overweight, it's not difficult to lose some pounds. But when you're normal in weight, bringing the scale down is tough," Madhavan said. The music for the movie has been scored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Madhavan's Yenalu Orvan, the Tamil version of Dombivli Fast, has been a great experience for the actor but he doesn't want to produce any more films now. "To begin with, the collections were average. But the film picked up by word of mouth and glowing reviews. I am going to make money as a producer. But no more production work for me. A producer's job is too tough. Acting is tough enough. I did want to do Imtiaz Ali's 'Jab We Met' in Tamil, but someone else has bought the rights," the actor said. Currently Madhavan is doing a Hindi-Tamil supernatural thriller called Channel. "It's about a family that comes to live on the 13th floor of a building. All sorts of eerie things happen to the family. It's our own 'Sixth Sense', which I hope makes sense." Neetu Chandra is Madhavan's co-star in this spook fest and Vikram Menon directs it.

Ali is better than Bramhanandam!

The film Lakshmiputrudu has Brahmanandam is a comic role. He plays the role similar to Rajnikanth in shivaji , the dress, the walking style, the mannerism etc. Brahmanandam’s role is very similar to that of Rajnikanth. There is the trademark Rajni mannerism, popping a chewing gum (Brahmy however fails to put it in his mouth and this is supposed to be the comedy).

There is also the famous helicopter scene in which Rajni comes out of the helicopter when he comes to a village.

But Brahmanandam’s antics and parody of Rajnikanth fall flat. There is no laughter in the theater even once. The entire sequence of Brahmanandam is the film has no connection whatsoever with the film.

On the other hand, Ali has done a similar role in Gopichand’s Ontari. Ali mimics Rajniakanth’s act from shivaji

The dress, the style of walking, laughter and dialogue delivery, everything is a perfect copy of Sivaji. Ali has done a wonderful job and the entire audience splits into laughter at his action.

Ali also does the popping bubble gum into the mouth act with style. Ali was so good that many felt as if they were actually watching Rajnikanth and not Ali. For once, Ali has beaten Brahmanandam fair and square.

Sindhura gadde femina Miss India 2005 on Tollywood Interview

Sindhura Gadde
She catapulted to fame with the Femina Miss India title in 2005, becoming the first Telugu to win the coveted pageant.

Three years down the line, as she gets ready for the release of her first movie, Sangamam, we discover a Sindhura who has sights firmly set on making a mark as an actor, and looks more ravishing than ever before!

On camera, action... Even before we get started with the questions, she excitedly begins the conversation with her upcoming movie and a 45-day shoot in Washington.

"I play this simple girl called Sanskriti, who remains traditional to the core even when circumstances force her to go to America." She laughs effervescently as she adds, "In rush hour on a busy Washington DC street, with everyone around in black or grey suit, I emerge suddenly in a white and yellow churidar...we did attract the eyeballs!" So, was acting the easy road oft taken for a Miss India? "Well, I never planned to be an actress. It's clichéd for Miss Indias to say they always wanted to act, but I was happy working and doing my medical studies (She holds a double degree in pharmacology and physiology!)." She adds, "Miss India is an amazing platform. So, yeah, acting was a natural progression."

But of course, it's not the first time she's in front of the camera -"At 19, I was spotted by the producer of a national news channel in New Zealand (where she grew up). To go live on air to the entire country at that age was the greatest rush, and even now, it makes me confident before the camera," she says.

On Tollywood

In an industry where a Telugu-speaking actress is an increasingly rare commodity, she's hot surely hot property!

She explains, "There's fascination everywhere with the foreign look. In the West, the Indian look is prized for it's a rare beauty. The same seems true for north Indian actresses here. But we need good actresses rather than glam dolls. For me, it's been a happy beginning, and I have my finger crossed." In chaste Telugu, she goes on to share, "I've had people remark about me, 'If actresses are so tall, where do we find the heroes for them?' But I seem to be in luck, for Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna, Prabhas, are all tall!"

On glam

Add the euphemistic 'If the script demands' to the question, '...are you ok with doing bold scenes?' and she is quick to spot the cliché. She says, "When an actress says, if the script demands, it means yes, she is ok with it.

I did a bold cameo in Heyy Babyy and I think such scenes are no big deal when you're comfortable in your own skin. Besides, I am a director's actor, and what he feels right is right." But Sindhura does make it clear that item numbers or further cameos are a no-no. She explains, "Heyy Babyy was for Sajid, who's a good friend. Besides, it was a great platform, having a star cast of Akshay, Fardeen, Vidya... but even though I wish to work in Bollywood, I don't want anymore cameos. And, I don't even want to enter the item-number jingbang."

Ramp to reel

Her schedule is chock-a-block with modelling assignments and shows, but it's acting that the southern belle has sights set on. "A model is like a hanger for a product, and at 23, I am past the stage of wanting to be just eye-candy." At a young age, we have to admit, she does harbour high ambitions – "I am striving to fill my schedule with films right now," she signs off.

Is Ruthika 20 or 30 plus?

Does Ruthika have a twin sister? This is the doubt that comes to one's mind whenever one sees her in person. Ruthika looks like a 20 plus with tenderness in her body. She also appears to be slim and fit when seen outside.

But the same Ruthika appears as someone who is 30 plus on screen. She also looks fat in movies. Her thunder thighs and her body structure appear to be heavier than they actually are.

It is surprising because in films, many things can actually be hidden. Make up and costumes can make people look younger, slimmer and smarter than they actually are.

But in Ruthika's case it is quite the opposite. She looks ravishing and hot in person but the same girl appears very old on screen. This is turning out to be a mystery for onlookers.
