Its pawan vs pawan in PULI

Pawan Kalyan will play the dual role in his next film Puli to be directed by SJ Surya. Pawan will be playing the role of Cop (ACP) which is a class role and at the same time another role will be Mass Masala character.

As for filmnagar sources, Pawan is being paid Rs10 crores as remuneration. AR raheman will be tuning the film.

‘Ullasamgaa… Utsahamgaa…’ in April

Pawan Kalyan promoted Karunakaran as director through ‘Toliprema’. It remained a memorable art piece in the history of Tollywood. Later, he had directed films like ‘Yuvakudu, Vasu and Happy’, but none of them reached the expectations on par with his debut movie. Presently he is directing ‘Ullasamgaa… Utsahamgaa…’ produced by BP Somu and GS Ranganath on the banner of Amarnath Arts.

This time, the director chose to introduce Yasho Sagar as hero while Sneha Ullal is doing the heroine. The shooting of the film was completed recently and is busy in post-production. Two songs of the film were shot in Malaysia, while the remaining film was shot in Hyderabad itself. The flick is said to be a romantic, love entertainer. The speciality of the film is that AR Rahman’s nephew Prakash is scoring music.

Superstar Rajnikanth mistaken as a beggar

He might have earned millions for essaying various roles in reel life, but Tamil superstar Rajinikanth cherishes most a Rs 10 note that a disguise in real life fetched him recently.

The superstar, who visited a temple in Bangalore in the guise of a humble old man, was mistaken for a beggar by a woman, who gave him Rs 10.

This amusing anecdote has been mentioned in the actor's recently-released biography 'The Name is Rajinikanth,' authored by city-based ophthalmologist Gayathri Sreekanth.

After his latest blockbuster movie 'Sivaji -- The Boss,' which kept cash registers ringing not only in India but also abroad, Rajnikanth suddenly wanted to visit a temple much to the bewilderment of his friend.

Asha Saini arrested in Chennai

Heroine Asha Saini alias Flora was arrested in Chennai on Tuesday (Mar 11, 2008) when she tried to get visa using forged documents at American Embassy. She had gone to American embassy along with her assistant Sri Latha (35) to obtain visa and the officials found that she is using forged documents.

Police suspect that she was trying to take Sri Latha to USA with her. The officials found contradictory details on the documents and questioned them. However not convinced with the reply, they questioned the actress' agent Venkat Reddy and he too said to have given misleading details that prompted the Embassy officials to report to police.

Following the complaint, the police arrested Asha Saini and the two others. The actress told the officials that she is leaving for USA for 'consulting some producers’ about a Telugu film.

Chennai police headed by Deputy Commissioner Mourya, Assistant Commissioner Ravindran and Inspector Irudhayam are investigating the case. 29 year old Asha Saini’s real name is Flora and is popularly known as 'Lux Paapa' for her hit number in Narasinhanaidu. She had acted in many films in Telugu but never made it to the big league. She has also changed her screen name recently as Mayuri to get luck.
