Then, in April, there is the release of 'Kantri'. Said to be a take-off from Leonardo DiCaprio’s film Catch Me If You Can, this one stars NTR, Hansika and Tanisha in the lead.
Then, there is Puri Jagannath directed 'Bujjigadu', Made in Chennai, lined up for release in the first week of May. This one stars Prabhas, Trisha and Sanjana in the lead.
Then of course, there is 'Parugu' that is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. This one has Allu Arjun and Sheila in the lead.
It will also be a race not only among the top heroes, but also among the top banners, as all the big summer flicks have huge productions houses making them.
For example, 'Jalsa' is being produced by Allu Arvind under the Geeta Arts banner. Then, 'Kantri' is being made by C Aswini Dutt under the Vyjayanti Movies banner and 'Bujjigadu' is being made by KS Rama Rao under the Creative Commercials banner.
'Dil' Raju is making 'Parugu' under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. So, it will be a matter of time before the industry gets to know which of the top banners knows what the audience want the best.
As for us, we will be in a win-win situation as we will get to watch some of the best stars perform this summer.
