Chandra babu naidu sidelining jr.NTR and NBK?

The stage is being set for a “sonrise” in the Telugu Desam, if the murmurs in the party headquarters are to be believed.

The Telugu Desam chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has cleverly started sidelining the party’s star campaigners, filmstars Balakrishna and Junior NTR, and is now subtly promoting his son, Mr Lokesh Naidu, as his successor.
Mr Naidu, who was all praise for Balakrishna and Junior NTR before the polls, is not talking much about their contribution now. He did not call on Junior NTR after returning to Hyderabad and did so only after a vernacular daily carried a report mentioning this.
During a media conference held at his residence the other day, Mr Naidu kept on stressing that it was his pet Cash Transfer Scheme that would lead the TD back to power.
Party insiders said that Mr Naidu’s shrewd political strategy came to the fore when he termed the Cash Transfer Scheme as his son Lokesh’s brainchild. This happened soon after Junior NTR started making waves through his campaign.
Later, Mr Lokesh was sent to Kuppam, Mr Naidu’s constituency, to look after the electioneering there.
Mr Naidu is known for his canny political moves. During the coup against NTR, he took the help of NTR’s son, Mr Harikrishna, and the veteran’s son-in-law, Mr Daggubati Venkateswara Rao. Later he dumped both of them.
An angry Harikrishna then said that Mr Naidu had a “use and throw” attitude. Mr Venkateswara Rao had recently cautioned both Balakrishna and Junior NTR to be cautious of Mr Naidu’s moves.

Tamanna is a busy actress now

After her blockbuster Ayan, Tamanna is now busy in Kollywood. “I am doing two Tamil films,” says the actress, who sounds excited about stepping into Kareena Kapoor’s shoes in the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit Jab We Met. “It’s a challenging role and I am paired opposite Bharath in the film,” she adds. So, is she totally giving up on Telugu films? “I am getting offers from Tollywood but can’t spare the dates,” she rues. Until then her Telugu fans will have to check out her dubbed films like Ananda Tandavanam and Kalasala. Well, looks like Tollywood’s loss is Kollywood’s gain.

Siddarth demanded Rs 3 Cr Remuneration and got rejected

Aamir Khan is holidaying with kids, but back home speculations of a fall-out between him and his Rang De Basanti co-star Siddharth have come to the fore. The South actor, who is a close buddy of Aamir’s, was offered a role in Khan’s Delhi Belly, but Siddharth apparently quoted so huge a fee (approx Rs 3 crores) that it left AK upset. While some say that the two are not on talking terms, a few unit members have another story to tell. “The movie is about three guys who are roomies,” informs the official spokesperson of Aamir’s production house. “The plan was always to cast relative newcomers in the film. While Imran Khan was signed on to play one of the three roomies, we conducted several auditions for the other two. Kunal Roy Kapoor and Veer Das were ultimately zeroed in for the roles. Siddharth wasn’t supposed to be part of the film. So there shouldn’t be any bone of contention.” Hmm, let’s follow this dostana…
