Telugu movie wins National Award !

National awards for the year 2009 are announced yesterday and there was a telugu film among the list of winners. 1940 lo Oka Gramam won the best film award in Regional Category. When top movies can't make it, a small movie directed by Narasimha Nandi bought pride to Tollywood.

Among other winners include Bala as best director for Nene Devudini, Priyanka chopra as best actress and Kangana Ranaut as best supporting actress for Fashion, Arjun Rampal as best supporting actor for Rock On, Upendra as Best Actor for a Kannada film. Rock On won the Best Film congratulates all the winners of National award for 2009.

Uday Kiran - Swetha Basu movie to release soon

Uday Kiran who was popular some time back is now hardly making movies. His latest film titled as Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta. Swetha Basu Prasad of Kotha Bangaru lokam fame is paired up with uday kiran in this film. Pradeep Koneru is debuting as music director. Subha Selvam is the director while Eshwar Prasad is producing this film in the banner Sri Venkateswara Swami Films.

The film will be complete youth entertainer as its a Love Story. Meanwhile a song is being picturised in the beaches of Pondicherry on the lead pair.Except few patch work, most of the shooting is already completed. The film will be hitting the screens soon. Hope with this film Uday Kiran regains his past glory.

Tamanna with Allu Arjun in Badrinath!

Allu Arjun is soon going to act in the direction of VV Vinayak. Geeta Arts currently enjoying the success of Hatrick films Jalsa, Ghazini and Magadheera is going to produce this film. The film is titled as Badrinath.

Initially makers were planning to rope in Hansika for the lead role but now as per the filmnagar sources, Tamanna of Happy days and KIKK fame replaced beauty doll Hansika.

Tamanna is busy in Tamil rather than Telugu. Hope with this project she will get good offers from Tollywood.

Meanwhile Allu Arjun's Varudu will be releasing in the March, while VV Vinayak is celebrating the success of Adhurs.
