Nayanatara marrying Prabhu deva in June!

Come June and Prabhu Deva and Nayantara will be bond by the sacred knot of matrimony.

Their marriage plans were confirmed when Prabhu filed a divorce with his wife Ramlatha. However, the day and date couldn't be reached upon till the completion of divorce proceedings.

Sources have it that the delay in reaching a settlement with Ramlatha over their divorce came in the way of Prabhu's marriage with Nayan. But now that the both parties have settled on a mutually accepted alimony, its time for wedding bells to ring again for the choreographer-actor turned director.

Also, Nayantara is currently shooting her Telugu film Sri Ramarajyam with Balakrishna and Prabhu is on the verge of completing his Tamil film Itch with Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani. Sources say that once their ongoing projects are complete, Nayan and Prabhu will walk the aisle around June or July.

We wish the couple a wonderful life filled with happiness and togetherness.

NTR and ileana will never act together again?

Don't be fooled by their on-screen romance. It is now reported that actors Junior NTR and Ileana are spitting fire at each other, causing a huge tumult in Tollywood.

The two who starred in Aswini Dutt's Shakti, which bombed at the box office, have vowed to never work together again, allege sources.

Trouble has been brewing for a long time now. Sources close to the actors claim that they constantly accuse each other of being arrogant. It is said that Ileana doesn't even shy away from expressing her hatred towards NTR in her conversations with filmi friends. The two acted in Rakhi a few years ago and it is alleged that they refused to get along from day one, causing the movie to suffer. Now, things have taken a turn for the worse.

Critics who trashed their on-screen chemistry in Shakti are being told that their hostility towards each other on the sets took a toll on the film. Sources close to them are laughing about the fact that the fight scenes between their characters in the film are the only realistic ones since the two actually quarrelled on sets.

Ileana's hatred for NTR took a public turn when she openly criticised Shakti, calling it a "bad" film. The actress was absent during the movie's release and she allegedly kept herself unavailable for publicity activities on purpose. The fact that NTR is notorious for his mood swings didn't help matters. It is said that he is "unfriendly" with most of his leading ladies. "Ileana hates NTR and doesn't even talk to him on the sets. She comes out of her van when the shot is ready, only to go back soon after. Ileana hates people who smoke around her and NTR deliberately lights up in front of her to annoy her. The only reason Ileana signed up for the film is because they were paying her `1.5 crore," said a close aide of the actress.

Industry sources reveal it is Ileana who will suffer if the matter isn't resolved soon. There's already buzz being created by NTR fans, demanding that she be banned from Tollywood. Ileana is now treading on thin ice, sources add. "Since her movies in the last one-and-a-half years flopped and her statements against Shakti didn't go down too well with the Nandamuri camp, most producers are opting to cast Trisha, Kajal or even Samantha instead of her," said the source.

Ram Charan Tej to rock Tamil Industry!

The fastest rising star in Tollywood, Ram Charan Tej, son of Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi, is all set to debut in Tamil. His blockbuster Magadheera, the fantasy action drama directed by hit maker S S Rajamouli, is being dubbed in Tamil as Maaveeran and releasing in May.

The film, which won prestigious awards, is considered to be the biggest hit in Telugu as it grossed nearly ` 118 crore, making it the only film in Tollywood to collect more than ` 100 crore!

At the star-studded audio launch of the Tamil version that took place in Chennai recently, Kamal Haasan welcomed Charan to Tamil cinema and said if there was more fusion between Tollywood and Kollywood, it would become the biggest film industry in India. Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam was all praise for the technical finesse in Magadheera.

The soft-spoken Ram Charan Tej, speaking exclusively to CT, said, "I grew up in Chennai where I did part of my schooling. I can understand and speak in Tamil. I always wanted to come back to Chennai and watch my film in a popular multiplex. Now, I'm thrilled that Maaveeran will be releasing big in May."

The dubbed movies of Charan's dad, Chiranjeevi, have usually done well at the Chennai BO. Reveals Charan, "My dad has always wanted me to do Tamil films. Actually, it was his idea to release the dubbed version in Tamil. Allu Aravind, my uncle and producer of the film, ensured that it was done well. I'm sure Maaveeran will work as it tells the story of romance and valour, packaged with a lot of emotion and sentiment. S S Rajamouli has packaged it perfectly as a roller-coaster ride with all the essential mass elements."

The actor feels that Tamil film audiences are large-hearted and love watching movies that are different. The fans in Andhra, he states, love good content and support a movie irrespective of the star value, something that has made Tamil stars like Vikram and Suriya popular. Concludes the actor, "Ultimately, it is content that matters. Thanks to the success of Tamil stars in Andhra, our cinema has improved. Similarly, I feel Tamil cinema will give a new market to Telugu films when they get dubbed. However, towards the end of the year, I will definitely be doing a straight Tamil film with a noted director."

Kick Shyam in Bollywood with Salman Khan?

Actor Shaam might soon be making inroads into Bollywood. Well, that's what we infer when we hear the actor gushing about his encounter with Salman Khan at an event held in Visakhapatnam recently. The Dabbang actor, who was quite impressed with the script of the Telugu hit Kick (Thillalangadi in Tamil), is now gearing up to remake the film in Hindi and if all goes well, namma Shaam might reprise his role in the Hindi version too!

Apparently, Sallu bhai was amazed by Shaam's performance in the film and heaped praise on the actor. Says Shaam, "I bumped into Salman sir recently in Vizag at an event and the moment I asked him about the Hindi remake of Kick, he shot back saying that I looked terrific in the original and added that I had done a fantastic job in it. I was extremely thrilled that he had recognized my work."

Work on the film is expected to begin in September. "I told Salman sir that I had done the same role in three languages - Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. When I expressed my interest to play the role in the Hindi version too as I felt it would be a great launchpad for me in Bollywood, he immediately said, 'Insha Allah.'"
