Nagarjuna Playing Satya Sai Baba Role?

Sathya Sai Baba has already caused a flurry of activity in Tollywood, with local filmmakers all set to encash on the buzz surrounding Baba currently.

Director Kodi Rama Krishna and Sumanth Palepu are all set to make two separate films on the life of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who passed away recently at Puttaparthi.

Sumanth reveals that his movie will be a periodical. "My film will be a periodical that will cover all the major milestone of Baba's life. To reach Baba's devotees across the world, the movie will be made in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada with an international cast. It will be released worldwide," he says.

According to our sources, Siddique or Mani Shankar may be roped in to direct the film.

Meanwhile, director Kodi Ramakrishna, known for films like Arundhati, and Devullu, says, "I would like to show his life from the beginning to the end. The film has to be both factual and interesting."

Rumour has it that Nagarjuna may play the lead in Kodi Ramakrishna's film.
